Formed in 2003 by Leigh Brooks and Stuart Ware the practice has successfully worked on and delivered numerous projects in London, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and further afield. The ability to design tailor-made and individual solutions for each client together with a firm understanding of construction detailing, contract administration, and an ability to achieve planning permission where others have failed has attracted many of their new clients while the high quality of service ensures many repeat-work clients. While no longer undertaking the smallest of domestic projects, Brooks & Ware Architects can offer a free one-hour consultation service to discuss design ideas, budgets, the planning process, the architect's role, employing a builder and common pitfalls to avoid. This is offered on the basis of a nominal donation to charity and in 2006 nearly £1000 was raised.
