Simon Merrett, the Managing Director, has been in private practice since 1985. We enjoy the challenge of exploring design solutions that may not, at first, be obvious. Our portfolio ranges from small domestic extensions through to one-off dwellings and small-scale commercial and industrial development. We specialise in listed buildings and have an in-depth knowledge of traditional building techniques and materials. This has given the practice an excellent reputation in the field of historic buildings especially churches. We are experienced in a wide range of community based projects and have recently been involved in the construction of the award winning community hall at Brandeston in Suffolk as well as other community projects. Our focus is Suffolk and we are passionate about preserving and enhancing the built environment of this beautiful county. We are not a large practice but you can be assured of a personal and professional service.
