The Practice opened for business over 50 years ago in offices next to London's fruit & vegetable market in COVENT GARDEN. The founding architect set out with a clear idea that he would operate as a general practitioner, & accept commissions of all sizes from domestic extensions to multi-million pound developments. This original concept remains the corner stone of our philosophy today. Initial work on postal sorting offices & telephone exchanges, expanded into commission's for NATIONAL SUNLIGHT laundries, RANKS-HOVIS McDOUGALL bakeries, and food stores for the WAITROSE division of JOHN LEWIS . Design of department stores for HOUSE of FRASER was combined with over 1,000 homes of all sizes for non-profit making HOUSING ASSOCIATIONS. Property portfolio surveys for the TUNBRIDGE WELLS COUNCIL were completed, and the Practice has now completed a wide range of work to LISTED BUILDINGS. In this new century, the accessibility & use of buildings has become an important speciality.
