An award-winning practice specialising in design on sensitive sites or in an historic context, conservation work, masterplanning and consultant advice on historic buildings generally. We are committed to finding creative ways of adapting and restoring historic buildings to ensure their ongoing or new use, and recognise the need to balance conservation issues with practical everyday requirements. We are familiar with the constraints of working in buildings with high security profiles, and expert at careful client liaison to minimise disruption to users of major public buildings. We have extensive experience in all matters relating to statutory areas of planning and conservation control, and an excellent working relationship with English Heritage. We are known for innovation in conservation and enjoy the challenge of making sure our built heritage is relevant today and for the future.
