The practice was formed in 1991 by Allan Garland and Martin Cornelius. The Partnership combines a creative, yet sensitive, approach in meeting the various demands of architecture, aiming to integrate environmental, landscape, interior, social and cost aspects, in realising maximum value/benefit for each client. The partners` design and administration experience covers many years with leading architectural practices over a wide field of building types, including successful management of major fast-track projects. The Practice is fully computerised, using computer aided design (CAD) from preliminary design through to construction stages. Experience includes residential, laboratory and research facilities, health buildings, commercial offices and business parks, community, leisure, and sports buildings, restaurants and high-class retail. It also extends into the areas of sensitive, smaller scale domestic architecture and high quality interior design on the one hand, and on the other, into urban design and landscape master-planning. A high proportion of projects involve works to Listed Buildings and within Conservation areas.
