Form_art specialises in developing projects within the arts and in the restoration and creative re-use of historic buildings. Our work is a collaborative process, merging our distinctive design philosophy with the requirements of individual clients. Form_art’s architecture is based on how people use and respond to their surroundings, through balancing space, light and form we create visually strong and serene environments. We strive for the highest standard of design that demonstrates a respect for the past, with an uncompromisingly contemporary approach to the future. Form_art was founded in 2004 by Alison Mclellan, following over a decade working with Stirling Wilford & Associates, Michael Wilford & Partners and Stanton Williams, delivering innovative design solutions for significant public buildings, including galleries, museums, performing arts centres, and the commissioning of artists.
