For over 40 years Edward Cullinan Architects have been designing carefully composed, innovative buildings. We are committed to the idea that a successful building is one which responds thoughtfully and gracefully to our client’s needs and to local conditions. We have achieved these aims, transferring our accumulated experience from project to project. We are particularly skilled at working with our clients to anticipate their future needs, developing the brief and the design together. We are interested in changing patterns of use, satisfying the needs of the users, responding to the context, whether urban or rural and conserving energy, using natural ventilation wherever possible. We have designed new buildings, and transformed existing buildings, in areas of great natural beauty and in places of special historic importance. In doing so, we have always sought to draw benefit from their particular and inherent qualities.
