Assemblage is a London-based studio of architects active in a wide field of design from individual objects and buildings through to large scale urban design. Assemblage was launched in 2003 by architects Hannah Corlett and Peter Besley, following collaboration on the new London headquarters for progressive multimedia company Razorfish. The name Assemblage refers to a central trajectory of the studio: to create works responsive to context, brief, and individual circumstances which emphasise heterogeneity, collage, and juxtaposition in favour of templated or branded solutions. This principle ensures a close working relationship with our clients and an inventive attitude to site, space, and materials.
