Ron Smith Architects create contemporary buildings and interiors with warmth and sensitivity. Natural materials are used to create calm, subtle modernity and glass is used to draw daylight in. We define both elegant and economic external and internal spaces. Our success has been rewarded by winning architectural competitions and design awards. Applying architectural values of aesthetics and function, while symbolising the nature of the client as an individual or an organisation. We aim to create human responsive buildings, which are durable and flexible in use. We believe in working towards a sustainable future using energy conservation when applicable and creating accessible environments. We have great experience of working within urban and rural conservation areas and have worked on projects, which involved adapting and preserving Listed Buildings. RSA regularly work for absent domestic clients resident abroad, we are currently working on projects on the Barbican Estate in the City of London.
