Mueller Kneer Associates are London based practice of architects, urbanists and interior designers dedicated to the exploration of contemporary urban conditions. Understanding the city as an experienced and practiced environment, Mueller Kneer Associates are working with spatial orders that organize ensembles of possibilities, the notion of event and the construction of situations. Their designs are responsive to brief and place and are embedded in the cultural and material reality of the city. The work of Mueller Kneer Associates ranges from individually commissioned interiors to residential and commercial buildings, urban design propositions and 1:1 interventions in the public realm. The practice has been awarded several national design prizes including the AJ and Corus 40 under 40 award in 2005, the ‘Theme’ award for ‘Best Use of Technology’ for the Cinnamon Club Bar and ‘The Times Creative Office Award’ for their design of Bob Geldof’s ‘deckchair.com’ headquarter offices. Their work has been reviewed and published extensively.
