Feona Cheng and Christopher Hill founded linedota architects with the notion of exploring architecture through high-quality and innovative design. It is the architectural qualities of materials, light and sound that are of particular interest to us. We consider a client and the other consultants within the team integral to the creative process as is the contractor. If we can get the creative frisson within a team to resonate it becomes contagious and everybody within the project benefits from the emotional thrill. Most importantly the architecture will be better. An important aspect of our approach to architecture is our research. The thrust of technology constantly informs our work, and where possible we try to innovate. We believe that it is only through the ceaseless asking of questions and the continual involvement of industry throughout a design’s development, can we be confident that the design objectives will be met.
