JCMT Architects was established in 1994. The four founding Directors all have a minimum of twenty years experience in the field of urban regeneration. Since it’s inception, JCMT Architects has built a reputation for producing creative design solutions to challenging and problematic briefs. Our work is generally on constrained inner-city sites with complex planning issues. This ranges from comprehensive re-development of large residential areas to small infill sites and sensitive re-furbishment, often working in close consultation with local residents. Increasingly, we are involved in high-density mixed-use developments, which rely on a variety of public and private sector partnerships. In many cases we have been instrumental in finding the site, establishing relationships between the various parties and developing a financially viable Design Brief that will attract investment. We are committed to promoting principles of sustainable development in all aspects of our work.
