Since it was established in 1983, C+S+K Architects has consistently produced award-winning projects for a wide range of building-types. We are especially skilled in working in sensitive urban and rural situations –with particular interest in explicitly contemporary buildings in locations of historical significance. 2 examples: Thorp Model Workshop won an RIBA Award '99, a Civic Trust Award, and is a case-study in CABE's ‘Buildings in Context’, and 2 buildings for Eton College (as part of a development strategy devised by C+S+K) won the RIBA Downland prize for Historic Building 2003. We also have considerable experience of the negotiation process involved in the development of sites in Greenbelt and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The practice is proud of its proven track-record of delivering high-quality buildings to programme and budget. It is also important to us that this product is achieved as part of an enjoyable and collaborative relationship with the client.
