At AED, the needs of the end user are paramount and remain centre stage in the design process. The emphasis is on providing sympathetic designs suited to client requirements; spatial needs, building function, programme and budget; to produce value enhancing solutions of the highest quality that sit well in their context. Environmental concerns and minimising cost in use are priorities and care is taken to ensure energy efficiency and use of renewable resources. AED provides full architectural consultancy services, project management, budget estimating, and cost control. AED believes that the Client and Architect make the majority of cost expenditure decisions at the outset of the project and that cost awareness at the point of design is the best method of budgetary control.
